Looking for a vet trained in rabbit care?
It is very important that you see an exotics or rabbit-savvy vet. Unfortunately, you cannot trust just any vet to properly care for rabbits. Our foster bunnies' care is mainly provided by Dr. Gina Davis at Valleydale Animal Clinic. Dr. Marie Rush is a board certified exotic specialist at Oak View Animal Hospital. She is there the second Tuesday of every month and will be there a few additional days in November. If these two veterinarians are not available, we also use Dr. Chris Campbell at Riverview Animal Clinic. Any vet can "see" a rabbit, but you want a vet trained in rabbit medicine.
